Couples Groups
There are two couples groups currently meeting. Couples groups are for married couples who want to grow in their marriage intimacy by learning to share honestly, and vulnerably with others. There is frequently a book that is read together, and groups meet about twice a month. Childcare is provided at the groups. These groups are by invitation only. If you would like to join a couples group let Mary or John know of your interest and they will try and help you connect with one.
Investigating God
This is a group for people interested in investigating Jesus. No prior church experience or Bible knowledge is required, just a curiosity and an openness to grow spiritually. We will explore the person of Jesus through the seven signs given in the book of John. They are:
1. Jesus turns water into wine (John 2.1-11) on Sept. 27th
2. Jesus heals the official’s son (John 4.46-54) on Oct. 4th
3. Jesus heals the man at the pool (John 5.1-9) on Oct. 18th
4. Jesus feeds the multitudes (John 6.1-15, 25-27) on Nov. 1st
5. Jesus crosses the sea (John 6.16-21) on Nov 15th
6. Jesus heals the blind (John 9.1-41) on Nov. 29th
7. Jesus raises Lazarus (John 11:1-44) on Dec. 13th
As we study each of these signs and discuss what they might mean, group participants will have the opportunity to become more aware of the ways God was at work in the person of Jesus and the ways that he is currently at work in their lives as well.
The group will meet on Tuesday nights from 7:30-9pm and last for seven weeks beginning on September 27th. If you'd like to sign up, please email John.
