Children's Ministry Job Opening
Posted on June 21, 2012 by webadminWe are a new church plant in the west metro area. Our church is comprised largely of young families, and we place a high priority on the spiritual formation of the children in our community. Currently, that occurs formally during Sunday school and somewhat informally as we share a meal together after service and the kids continue to play together. We believe our church is a great place for kids to grow. We've heard parents tell us that their kids love coming to church, and complain when they have to miss worship.

Lenten Reflection: Carrie Asanji
Posted on March 31, 2012 by webadminI approached Lent this year in a different way. In prior years, I would attempt to deprive myself of something that would normally give me satisfaction like chocolate, sugar or coffee. What I have noticed, in the past, about these choices was that I would choose something that not only made me reflect and pray more when the cravings would come, but I would also choose something that I wanted to cut down on anyway. I would choose sweets or chocolate in an attempt to also loose some unwanted weight. Honestly, a lot of the time this was a bigger motivator than drawing closer to God.
